Service Description
Capture your home (or business) with character in collage! Most of us have dabbled with collage at some time, but take it to an exciting new level with this fail safe workshop! You will find collage quite addictive and there is a growing movement of Collagers in the West Midlands! For this workshop you will need to bring at least one A4 full colour full page printout on paper (from your home printer) of a photograph of the house or business that you would like to immortalise. Or you may have a historical building you would like to capture or something alternative such as a house boat - you are not restricted! Browse the collections on my website to get an idea of composition. It may be tricky to fit all of a larger house onto a collage so it's best to bring printouts of several different angles or close ups to choose from. It's also fun to include photos of pets or family members so you can bring prints of these along too (you will be working on an A4 canvas so make sure they are to scale). You can consult with me beforehand for advice on the best images to work from and to include in your collage. You will find everything you need to create a colourful, contemporary collage using the simplest of materials hosted in my informal gallery space in my own home. Bring your own lunch - snacks and drinks provided. Please note: course dates are scheduled but alternative dates can be arranged on request. Disposable face masks, hand sanitiser and good ventilation are available for your protection, please let me know if you have any additional requirements. Do not attend if you are not feeling well, we can always rearrange! There are free range cats and chickens onsite so please leave dogs at home. My gallery is located at my home on the A458 just outside Kinver in South Staffordshire. The entrance to the drive can be found just past the turning to Kinver on the opposite side of the road (not the one directly opposite!) - there are only four properties in the postcode so look out for the gallery signs and a white Victorian house - if you reach the Fox Pub you have gone too far and can turn around in their car park. There is plenty of room drive right in, turn and park, but please be mindful of our moggies! The local area offers numerous tasty eateries and the famous Rock Houses on National Trust property so why not stay awhile!
