Posh Paper Mache Bees are popular! My bee design is easy and fun and has been refined to its simplest form over the long time that I have been making them. You can make them in large sizes to make an impact or smaller for decorative effect! Of course, if you would prefer me to make you one instead, just ask! The video below will show you some of my bee creations.

We all love a Bumble Bee - their fuzzy bodies buzzing around gardens, parks, and hedgerows. Approximately 25 of the roughly 250 of these species worldwide can be found in the U.K. and we now know that they play a vital role in our ecosystem.
Larger and fuzzier than honey bees, they are easy to spot in your garden. Bumble bees can carry more pollen than any other bee species due to their size and specialized body structures, which is crucial for the reproduction of many of our favourite fruits and vegetables.
In the U.K., bumble bees are active primarily from April to September. They thrive in gardens, meadows, and wildflower patches but can also be spotted in urban environments.
If you want to do your part for these valuable pollinators, consider planting a bee-friendly garden. Planting native flowers like foxgloves, clover, marigolds and clover, provide essential nectar and pollen throughout the blooming season.

Despite their charm and significance, unfortunately bumble bee populations are declining in part due to the loss of wildflower meadows, climate change and the use of pesticides.
To help Bees, consider leaving parts of your garden wild or place nesting boxes designed for bumble bees which can encourage them to thrive in your area.
Perhaps use your Posh Paper Mache bees to serve a purpose in raising awareness of bees as an important part of the ecosystem or highlighting their plight. I personally love their striking colour which is excuse enough to make them! You can personalise them with clippings of decoupage to get your particular message across. Take a look at the short video below to see some of the variety of bees that I have created using my Posh Paper Mache Technique to give you some ideas!
